At Invergowrie, a statue of a young girl completely absorbed in her book has become a symbol of curiosity, learning, and possibility. She is lost in her happy place — a quality that first drew admiration — and now stands at the entrance, quietly welcoming everyone who visits.
Invergowrie has always been a place of learning. From its days as the Homecraft Hostel, where young women gained skills and knowledge to shape their futures, to today’s work of the Tomisich Foundation supporting girls in STEM and funding education initiatives for children in need, the spirit of learning lives on.
The Reading Girl captures that spirit perfectly. Her story, like ours, is one of growth, knowledge, and hope for the future.
